By reading this article, you’ve proven that you have the genuine desire to become one of the privileged few-the doers, the movers, the leaders in our profitable system of “Free Enterprise.” It seems like a contradiction in terms. Very little about it is actually “Free”!
Knowing that the “system” is failing you and being concerned about your future is not enough for you. It would help if you did something about it.

Inevitably, when talking to a group of strangers at a party, the subject of work comes up. Proudly, I say I’ve been self-employed for several years and, particularly now, the envious looks on their faces are apparent. Some tell me they’ve always wanted to, but…Others say they’d like to, but…A few will say they will, whenever. A lot will say they wish they were, but… And almost all will ask me how I got started.
It reminds me that entrepreneurs are the doers of the world. And it makes me think of what someone once said about people. “Folks are divided into three groups. Some spend their lives doing things, others have things done to them, and the rest watch.”
The great Dr. Norman Vincent Peale says, “I want to tell you about the two most powerful words in the world. The first has only five letters, but it has the strength to move mountains. That word is called faith. Faith in yourself, faith in others, faith in your abilities, faith in your future. Who will have faith in you if you don’t have faith in yourself?” For you, the entrepreneur, that faith should be second nature.
But then he speaks of the second of the two most powerful words in the world. So powerful that if you allow it, it can wipe out faith. “That word is a four-letter word called fear, fear that you can’t be or do something, fear of the past and its consequences, fear of tomorrow for what tomorrow might bring, fear that you might fail.”
Joe Girard, universally known as one of the world’s most excellent salespersons, says there are five ways to get rid of fear:
1. Belief in yourself.
2. Associate with confident people.
3. Tune-up your confidence machine.
4. Be master of your ship.
5. Keep busy.

HELP! In many ways, we’re being forced into entrepreneurialism. The traditional systems just aren’t working anymore. The promises of a rewarding future, upward mobility, and stimulating work are becoming hollow.
Large businesses can no longer guarantee happiness and security even if you play the corporate game. The payoffs today are plant layoffs, stagnating careers, and corporate politics. Almost every industry is being battered by foreign competition, propelled into automation, and forced to reduce staff. So much for safe and secure careers!
Sound familiar? James Comiskey made those statements in 1985. Sadly enough, by comparison with the record “downsizing”, and “layoff” rates of today, 1985 was a pretty good year!

What is the answer? When you think about it for a while, one fact becomes glaringly apparent. You, personally, can’t do much about the “system” or inflation. You can’t even control your own future employment if your employer is forced to cut expenses, or worse yet, closes or sells the business.
Multilevel marketing business ownership is the viable way to control your own destiny.
The goals of meaningful work, personal satisfaction and control over your own destiny can be achieved in your own multilevel marketing company, and it’s easier to get started than you think.
